One of the primary ways the Navy League supports the sea services is through unit and ship adoptions. Navy League councils around the world provide support of personnel and their families from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, and U.S.-flagged Merchant Marine. Councils also adopt youth programs such as the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (13-18 years old), Navy League Cadet Corps (10-13 years old), Young Marines, Navy JROTC, and Marine Corps JROTC programs.

The Kingsville Navy League has adopted five sea service commands for our targeted support: Naval Air Station (NAS) KINGSVILLE, Training Air Wing TWO, Training Squadron TWO ONE, Training Squadron TWO TWO, and Donna ISD Marine Corps JROTC Program. Sadly, our other adopted unit, Navy Reserve Center (NRC) Harlingen, was disestablished in early 2023.

**TBA - To Be Announced** With great anticipation and enthusiasm, the Kingsville Navy League is looking forward to the opportunity to adopt the crew, and their families, of the future USS KINGSVILLE (LCS 36). The announcement of the adoption to be announced (TBA), with the approval of the ship's commanding officer, to hopefully coincide with the ship's commissioning week, estimated to be in early 2024.
